Hello Central Group
Leila and I thought it would lovely to have another get together for Central group before the end of year. We have suggested going to visit Howick Historic Village. It is a re-creation of a New Zealand colonial village using houses and cottages saved from the surrounding Auckland suburb of Howick.
However this will be on a Sunday afternoon as this is a Live day.
“Step back in time with us on a Live Day, where the Village comes to life with costumed Villagers. The whole Village is filled with activity, as villagers go about their daily tasks. On most live days you will find a marching band, a Fencible military demonstration, an exhibition that relates to that month’s theme, an opportunity to play with Victorian Era games, and a horse and carriage. ”

Cost: $8 (could be cheaper depending how many helpers needed for w/c and vision impaired, helpers are free and we can split the costs)
