Today was the day for our fortnightly CFFD gathering.
Charleen made some yummy quiches for us to eat for lunch. Thanks so much, Charleen.
Tommy K (Tom Kelley) played the keyboard and led us singing Our God Is An Awesome God, You Give Me Shelter, and That My Soul Knows Very Well. He also entertained us with other songs from his amazing repertoire. Thanks so much, Tom.
Then Sheree shared a few Scriptures with us that lift her up when she is feeling down: Proverbs 3v5-6, 1 Peter 5v7, and Matthew 11v28-30. Thanks so much, Sheree.
We had some good discussion and some great contributions from Ron and Tommy. The take home message was that we can trust God with our worries because He cares for us and He wants to guide us on the right path. We can acknowledge Him and cast our cares on Him by starting each day with time in His presence, spending time praying and reading His word.
