Welcome to Northland CFFD
Located north of Kaipara Harbour, our region is home to the Great Kauri Giants and rich in culture. Our branch connects people with disabilities and supporters through faith, fellowship, and community activities.
Because our area is so large—five hours top to bottom, one hour across—most gatherings happen in Whangārei, with occasional visits to nearby towns. We create spaces where everyone can share their God-given gifts, be encouraged, and experience true community.
We host five main events each year combining faith, fun, and fellowship. Activities include:
- Outdoor adventures: Kauri Trounson Park, beaches, and car rallies.
- Church-based events: worship, music, and celebrating talents.
From time to time, Northland also takes a team to the National Camp in Matamata over Labour Weekend. It’s an incredible experience for people with disabilities and helpers alike, and new participants are always welcome!
We love partnering with churches in Whangarei and surrounding areas, whether leading part of a service or the whole celebration. God is doing amazing things in Northland, and we’d love for you to be part of it! Come along, join an event, share your ideas, or volunteer—there’s a place for everyone.
