Family Camp 2026 – Volunteers Application Information

Want to come to camp as a volunteer? Please apply to volunteer by filling out our Volunteer Application Form below. The form will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Volunteer Application Process

  1. Please fill out the registration form that is linked above.
  2. If you are new to volunteering at Family Camp or have not had a police vet completed in the last two years for Elevate Christian Disability Trust, you will be required to complete a police vet to volunteer with us.
  3. Please download and read the 'Police Vetting Information Sheet' in the next section on this web-page, called Volunteer Police Vetting Documents. This will take approximately 10 minutes to read.
  4. Please download and complete the 'Police Vet for Family Camp Volunteers' in the next section on this web-page, called Volunteer Police Vetting Documents. This will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
  5. Please email your completed police vet to vetting@elevate.org.nz with photographs of two copies of identification. E.g. Drivers' licence, birth certificate.
  6. We will then process your application and contact you to confirm whether you are successful in your application to volunteer.
  7. If you are successful, you will be emailed camp preparation information and to arrange payment.
  8. You will be invited to a pre-scheduled evening Zoom Training session (1.5-2 Hours) to prepare you for camp.

Please do not pay for your camp fees until after we have confirmed that you have been successful in your application.

Camp Fees

Volunteer Adults and Young people 13+ Years ($150.00pp)

Programme Leaders and Staff Meal Fund ($50.00)

Child 6-12 ($200.00)

Child 3-5 ($120.00)

Infant 0-3 ($30.00)

Fees cover all food, accommodation, and activities from Friday supper (not dinner) until Sunday lunch.

If fees are a barrier to you attending, please contact us.
