Welcome to Hawkes Bay Joy Ministries
Joy Ministries in Hawke’s Bay has been bringing people with intellectual disabilities, their families, and supporters together since 1995. Our goal is to share the love of God and provide spiritual input in a safe and supportive environment, allowing everyone to grow in faith and fellowship.
Our gatherings include praise and worship, where everyone is encouraged to participate, including the use of hand-held instruments for those who wish. We share stories of God’s work in our lives, enjoy activities such as crafts, skits, or visiting speakers, and finish with a relaxed afternoon tea—a time for everyone, including caregivers, to connect and enjoy fellowship together.
