Di is one of the co-founders of the ministry, alongside her late husband Hugh and close friend, the late Margie Willers. Drawing on her professional training as an Occupational Therapist, Di has played a vital role in shaping the ministry’s resources and training programs. Her expertise has been instrumental in running camps, establishing the Drop-in Centre, and providing oversight to the ministry’s branches across the region.

Throughout the years, Di’s commitment and compassionate leadership have helped build a strong, supportive community where people with disabilities and their families feel valued and empowered. Even today, she remains deeply engaged, attending the Drop-in Centre most weeks and maintaining close relationships with many individuals within the ministry. Di’s ongoing dedication continues to inspire and encourage those around her.
