Vanessa Creamer
Vanessa began attending National camp in 1998 and has been a devoted participant ever since, never missing a single camp. In 2002, she joined the Auckland Branch of Christian Fellowship for the Disabled, where she served as chairperson for 11 years before relocating to Wellington in 2015.
Her passion for service led her to volunteer weekly at the Drop-in Centre for three years, during which time she pursued and completed a Bachelor of Applied Theology at Carey Baptist College, graduating in 2013. Vanessa’s diverse professional background includes roles as a Legal Executive, employment support person for people with mental health challenges, a teacher aide for a Deaf child, and an Executive Assistant for the Mental Health and Deputy Commissioner for Disability at the Health and Disability Commissioner (HDC).
Currently, Vanessa works as the Senior Disability Advisor for the National Public Health Service in New Zealand. Her deep commitment to inclusion and support for vulnerable communities continues to be evident both in her professional life and ministry involvement.
Vanessa became Interim Chairperson for the Board of Trustees for Elevate Christian Disability Trust in October 2025, in light of the passing of the Trust's Chairperson of eighteen years; the late David Senior. Vanessa Creamer will help to guide the Trust with her wisdom and leadership for the foreseeable future.
