Auckland CFFD

Auckland CFFD Welcome

Hi and welcome to the Auckland CFFD. We have been established since 1976 and have many members throughout the Auckland region. Auckland is a large and vibrant city and there is never a dull moment with CFFD! We regularly host group outings and meetings where people can know they belong, have something to contribute and, can get to talk to others about their faith. We have a regional camp held at Carey Park in West Auckland each year which is always a great success!

We would like to extend a warm welcome to you to join us sometime soon. If you would like more information on any of our services or events contact us using the form below

Introducing the CFFD Auckland Committee!

These people are currently on the Auckland CFFD committee. From time to time we invite people to come onto the committee to help out with other events such as the camp. We also have some people that help out with the running of area groups.

Jean Griffiths – Co-Chairman and Secretary
It is a privilege and blessing to be part of this amazing ministry. It has helped me to be stretched out of my comfort zone and build confidence as I contribute in some way.

Bonnie Pascoe – Information coming soon

Viv Riddell – Co-Chairman and Minute taker
I met CFFD while flatting with Vanessa Creamer pre-2000 (who was on the committee until 2014), but did not take any active role. Then, I was happy to have my involvement as a “Friend of CFFD” person only, until through a couple of interesting God directed conversations I felt I should agree to join the committee in 2011. I am the least knowledgeable of life with a physical disability but am learning much about the consequences, both good and bad from working for, and with you all.

Ian Sinclair – Advertising, Newsletter, Facebook/Website editor and Event data projection
I have been involved with Elevate Christian Disability Trust since 2004 at the National Camp in Matamata. I first had contact with CFFD Auckland in 2006 attending the Auckland camp and have been on the Auckland committee since 2007. I do the Advertising, Newsletters, CFFD Auckland Facebook, CFFD Auckland website and run the data projection at CFFD Auckland events, camps and Elevate National Camp every year in Matamata.

Fiona Thomas
I have been involved with the CFFD ministry for a long time, going back over thirty years. My husband was introduced to CFFD and so have our children. We have been to many camps, some in Auckland the rest have been in Matamata I have lost count. I have been blessed by hundreds of people who have attended the ministries many activities. Watching us grow from having meetings at the Blind foundation to a drop in centre in Sandringham and now in Onehunga.

I pray I will be helpful and help CFFD show others Jesus with skin on in our journey to reach our communities disabled folk in what ever the Lords leads.

Blair Woolley – Information coming soon

Geoff Wong
Kia Ora! My name is Geoffrey Wong and I grew up in Hong Kong. I graduated in the year 2010 from university of Auckland and I currently work in Auckland as a special needs teacher at Sommerville Special School.

I feel privileged and blessed to be able to serve in CFFD Auckland.
